Bye Bye Vietnam...

So, it has been rather stressful the last weeks. Unfortunately I left Vietnam for good end of February. On the one hand I am of course very sad, because somehow I got accustomed and used to this country. I knew where to go, what to do and manoeuvre confidently through the obstacles of the daily life. I found many restaurants and bars, which I liked and frequently visited. I had my shops for almost everything and found new gems every now and then. Found as well friends and acquaintances with whom I enjoyed spending time with. For example I found a nice little golf course in District 7, not far from the city center, shortly before christmas last year. If I knew this place earlier, I think I could have substantially improved my handicap.
On the other hand, I'm looking forward to my new challenges and my new place to live. As soon as I will be there, I will post some pictures.
Nevertheless, I'm really happy that I made the experience, and some things I will definitely not miss, like the weather, the chaotic traffic, the corruption in every single aspect. But those things belong to Vietnam, like Pho, conicle hats, beautiful sunsets etc. Even though I didn't like the circumstances in the beginning in Vietnam and was actually counting the days to go back home, I do really miss the country and the people. Here some last shots I made during my last days:

There is so much more what i could have posted. There are still hundreds of pictures unfiled and to be screened. There might be some flashbacks and of course I will post new pictures from my new destination. Here the last moment in Vietnam, when my ladies said Goodbye at the airport:
